Congratulations to Kevin Leahy, the final contender on the Kungsleden Trail, securing victory in the Montane Arctic Spine Race 2024. His humility, unwavering focus, and indomitable spirit make him an exemplary pioneer for this inaugural expedition race.

Hats off also go to Edward Sellon for becoming the first competitor to conquer the Montane Arctic Spine Challenger. He demonstrated remarkable resilience and adaptability having taken the tough decision to continue solo from Team Uhuru. Ed and Kev formed a partnership on the Kungsleden trail for a while.

This was a special race for the Spine history books and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who started and supported the race. It has been a testament to human endeavour, inspiring to the very core.
