As our competitors continue their battle up the Pennine Way, temperatures plummet and conditions worsen. The snow comes and makes a hard job harder.

Our competitors in the Challenger North and MRT Challenge North are having to battle hard. Joe O’Leary extends his overall lead, but there is a well fought battle for the podium positions amongst the women with Nikki Arthur starting to pull away.

Jack Scott and Claire Bannwarth extend their lead over 2nd places Damian Hall and Lucy Gossage in the 268-mile Spine Race, and the enormity of the challenge ahead begins to hit the many competitors further south.

Still a long way to go before the finish line in Kirk Yetholm.

What will the Cheviots deliver overnight?
